A Little About Me

I have always been a voracious reader and, as a youngster, one of my favourite past times was to visit the library. However, while my friends read popular novels and typical age-appropriate non-fiction, I found myself wandering the aisles that dealt with paranormal and psychic phenomena. At the age of 12, I recall completing astrology charts for my classmates and, in high school, I delivered an intriguing speech on astral projection that was “the topic of conversation” in the teacher’s lunchroom as my English teacher later confessed to me.

As a young adult, I purchased my first set of tarot cards and used them religiously when I felt I needed answers to big life questions regarding my career, relationships, moving to a new home, etc. I was amazed that the cards always pointed me in the right direction. My friends asked for readings on occasion but mostly I consulted the cards for myself, and later for my husband.

After completing university and a post-diploma program I joined the ranks of those working in corporate Canada. Although I thought I loved what I did, I did not find it fulfilling and suffered from several less than optimal work situations. Finally, one day, my husband said, “maybe this isn’t what you were meant to do.” BINGO! I had the proverbial light bulb moment. However, this now begged the question, “then just what AM I supposed to be doing?”

I am sure you have wrestled with this ‘life purpose’ question yourself. I wish I could say it was easy for me to figure it out but as I now know, anything in life worth doing comes with bumps in the road.

It just so happened that at the same time I was trying to figure out what to do with my life my maternal clock was ticking and so I joined the ranks of motherhood and my time to enjoy and explore all things metaphysical disappeared.

My life unfolded in a typical fashion. I became a stay-at home-mom with two kids. While I was truly blessed that I was able to be at home with them, I experienced a deep-seated nagging feeling that there was something more that I was meant to accomplish.

This feeling grew like a weight in my heart and I could feel the tendrils of depression slowly taking hold. A slow creeping numbness enveloped me and during a cold and very long winter I sat, one day, contemplating if my life had any meaning at all. Tears streamed down my face and I felt completely lost and alone.

Not long after this, I started to notice something very strange. It seemed that every time I glanced at the clock, the time was 1:11 or 11:11 or 2:11 or 5:11 etc. It drove me nuts! I kept wondering, “what’s with the 11’s??” I even mentioned this to my husband but told nobody else. This had been going on for a few weeks when one day, my mother called. She told me how she had gone to see a medium because she had to ask why she kept seeing 11s on the clock. I think the hair on the back of my neck stood up as soon as she said this and then I blurted out, “the same thing has been happening to me!”

My mother told me that this is a sign from my angels and that they were trying to get my attention. She told me that the medium recommended a book for her to read by Doreen Virtue. When I read this book I quickly realized that the angels had something they were desperately trying to communicate to me but I had no way to figure out what it was.

I learned about angel card readers and decided that I needed to find one so that I could finally figure out just what my angels were trying to tell me. Intrigued, my husband and I both booked a reading and soon after, my life underwent a complete shift.

Several years prior to reaching this point in my life I had two very vivid, and life altering, angelic encounters so I always knew that angels walked among us and watched over us. What I didn’t know, was that they are eager to help us in every aspect of our lives but first we need to ASK! I became an avid student of all things “angel” and resurrected my interest in card reading but this time using angel oracle cards instead of tarot. The more I studied, the more excited, passionate and ALIVE I felt! I started working with my angels on a daily basis and was amazed at the transformation that I experienced.

During this time, people started suddenly coming into my life who were experiencing difficulties. As a friend, I offered them compassion and suggested that they could benefit from some angelic guidance. And the more readings I did, the more people appeared who seemed to need my help. When I finally stopped to meditate, pray and reflect on this it became clear that I was being Divinely guided and that THIS is what I was meant to do.

The part of me that was missing for so many years was back! I felt complete, and more importantly, I felt blessed and thankful that I could be of service to others.

They desperately want to connect with you so that they may share with you ways in which you can live YOUR most joyful life possible.
